TERMS OF SERVICE

1. SERVICE

Vitals ("Service") is a YouTube Shorts diagnostic tool operated by Vitals ("we", "us"). The Service analyzes YouTube Shorts performance data through the YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API v2 to provide hook scores, verdicts, title rewrites, and actionable diagnostics.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. ACCOUNTS

You must authenticate via Google OAuth to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent.

One account per person. Accounts are non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. YOUTUBE DATA ACCESS

The Service requests read-only access to your YouTube channel data. We never post, edit, delete, or modify any content on your YouTube channel. Specifically, we access:

• Channel metadata (name, ID, subscriber count)
• Shorts metadata (titles, descriptions, view counts, likes, comments, publish dates)
• YouTube Analytics data (CTR, average view percentage, impressions, traffic sources, shares)

You can revoke access at any time via Google Security Settings. The Service's use of YouTube data complies with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.

4. BILLING

The free tier ("Probe") includes one diagnostic scan at no cost. The paid tier ("Deep Scan") is billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are listed on the Pricing page and may change with 30 days notice.

Deep Scan includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges. After the trial, billing activates automatically.

Cancel anytime from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued.

5. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

The Service uses AI (OpenAI GPT) to generate hook scores, action items, title rewrites, and channel summaries. These are diagnostic suggestions, not guarantees of performance. YouTube's algorithm is opaque and changes without notice. We make no warranty that following suggestions will improve channel metrics.

You retain full ownership of any titles, descriptions, or tags you choose to apply based on our suggestions.

6. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm other creators
• Exceed reasonable usage limits (enforced via rate limiting)
• Circumvent billing or access controls

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service, including loss of revenue, channel performance changes, or data loss. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. DATA RETENTION

Diagnostic data is retained while your account is active. Upon cancellation, data is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.

9. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account from Settings. Upon deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

10. CHANGES

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
