Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Vitals ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Vitals is a YouTube Shorts diagnostic tool. It connects to your YouTube channel via the YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API v2 (with your authorization), analyzes your Shorts performance data, and generates AI-powered diagnostics including hook scores, verdicts, action items, title rewrites, and tag recommendations.

AI analysis is performed by OpenAI's GPT models. Results are algorithmic suggestions, not guarantees of performance improvement.

3. Accounts and Authentication

You sign in using Google OAuth 2.0. By signing in, you authorize Vitals to access your YouTube channel metadata and Analytics data in read-only mode. Vitals never posts, deletes, or modifies content on your YouTube channel.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access.

4. Billing

The Free tier includes 1 diagnostic run at no cost. The Creator plan costs $29/month, billed monthly through Stripe. A 14-day free trial is included with Creator.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Data Usage

Your YouTube metadata and Analytics data are sent to OpenAI for analysis. Data sent to OpenAI is subject to OpenAI's usage policies. Vitals does not use your data for model training. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. YouTube API Services

Vitals uses YouTube API Services. By using Vitals, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

You may revoke Vitals' access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google Security Settings page.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your YouTube content. Vitals retains rights to its software, interface, and AI-generated diagnostic outputs. You may use diagnostic results for your own content optimization.

8. Limitation of Liability

Vitals is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to changes in your YouTube channel performance.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
